My first exposure to dentistry was in high school. I would occasionally substitute for employees at the office of my girlfriend’s father. In 2001, I returned home to Fort Wayne and purchased Pediatric Dental Associates, PC in 2006. I love the opportunities we have to put a smile on a child’s face, make them laugh, and take an interest in their lives.
Dr. Gentz is a native of Michigan. She completed her undergraduate studies at Case Western Reserve University and then continued on to dental school at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, she completed 2 years of post-doctorate specialty training in pediatric dentistry at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children’s Hospital
in 2015. During residency, she also obtained a Master’s degree and completed her research thesis on pediatric dental sedation. Since then Dr. Gentz has practiced pediatric dentistry in South Carolina, Michigan, and California before returning to the Midwest to be close to family in Fort Wayne.
Dr. Gentz finds great satisfaction in working with kids and families everyday. Nothing is better than helping children have a positive dental experience and putting smiles on their faces! In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Patrick, and their two children. Together, they enjoy camping, traveling, and cooking!
I joined PDA in 2015. My goal is to make every patient feel at home when they walk through the door. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like to shop, vacation at the beach, and relax with a book.
I joined Dr. Hobbs and the PDA team in 2001. I’m proud to be working with a great team of people who enjoy helping educate children on the importance of dental health. In my spare time I enjoy reading, crafting, and hunting with my husband.

I joined the PDA team in 2001. I have enjoyed working with our team and family of patients. In my free time, I like spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy being outdoors as much as possible.

I joined the PDA team in March of 2017. I love working with the children. It’s very rewarding to help and educate all the different families. My favorite things to do are spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and watching my kids’ sporting events.
